“It’s an amazing experience to work with a designer who not only respects your brief but takes it to a level well beyond your expectations. We engaged Tom from Halcyon to design a two-storey home for a small block in Wembley Downs. At our initial meeting he got a detailed feel for what we liked and what we didn’t, and it was a really interactive process as we all threw around some ideas.
When the first draft of the design came back, we were blown away. In some ways it was quite different to what we had initially thought (based on countless visits to display homes). In reality, it was so much better than we had dreamed. Tom had really understood what we wanted to achieve, the opportunities and challenges of our block, and delivered us a creative design that made sense in every way. There were “wow” features that we never imagined. As he took the time to talk us through the design concept, we were hooked.
